The foster kids and I are carving pumpkins today. Just got back from "The Pumpkin Patch" where we bought six soon-to-be jack-o-lanterns. Baby Sis's 2 year old word of the week is, "Halloween." We can't get her to take off her bee wings.

It's 70 degrees Fahrenheit here in mountainous Mexico all year round, rose, which is sweet. But there are 2 seasons that have zero to do with temperature: rainy from May to November, and dry from December to May. I'm really looking forward to putting my umbrella away in the closet a month from now!

No snow, rose. We had snow in Uruguay, the other Latin American country where I grew up as a missionary kid because Uruguay is down toward the South Pole with the penguins. But here in Mexico, no snow. Up higher than Denver, Colorado as we are, though, it does get chilly so people wear parkas here, It gets foggy and it rains nearly every afternoon. Up here where the air is thin, it's weird how it'll be warm on the sunny side of street and yet you'll need a coat across the street in the shade.

You betcha, rose. Though I do admit around Christmas I expect I'll get all nostalgic for snow for a white Christmas like I'm used to having in the States. I might ask you to post a picture here of a white Christmas just to remind me.

Yesterday I got a tour of a theater in my area in which the head personal only met me on zoom BUT yesterday for the first time face to face. It was so cool BUT today my body is crying out loud

Hi Muji it was an awesome day even though I got sick BUT today I am feeling better BUT i did not sleep well last night BUT I will be okay. There was no additional visitor in the building except the small group I went with. Minis the tour guide only time we had someone in the same area is if they were coming to educate us. BUT everyone had on mask 100%
