You are a very successful person. Why? How? Look around you. You are in school doing the best you can, you stride towards your goal, and you reach out when you need help. Those are successes. No one sees the pain they cause or might cause, in thus case, I think it's a very good idea to talk to the Dean of your studies. (or that department). I would even suggest going as far as explaining what happened to a counselor. It hurt you really bad. I could tell. But you are stronger than you look on the outside. If you still feel down, perhaps a crisis center is for you. I went to one once. They are VERY respectful, they taught me stress releasing tactics and even helped me build myself back up to face the world again. The best thing you can do is talk. Holding it in will only make the pain hurt worse. Believe me, this is my downfall. I pray that my words help and perhaps inspire you. Please, reconsider. You are the only you in this world and we NEED you here.

So many people here care enough about you to respond to your pain. Please consider us. There are people here who are holding on for each other, and it is important for us to continue for one another. I'm so sorry your instructor is uncaring. But, he's not worth this! No one is worth this..

This sounds like a really difficult experience, I’m so sorry he acted like that. But please don’t leave this world, I care and so do the others who commented before me (God does too). You are worth so much! You have so much potential! That instructor may be going through a hard time or something and have taken it out on you. But don’t let his or her words shape who you feel you are because you are not defined by what some instructor thinks about you. I don’t know you but I have a feeling you’re pretty great.

Does not sound like a good teacher. So please remember if he or she is not doing their job, that should not be your problem. If you were abused, please get treatment, but again, when someone did a terrible thing, that is not a reflection upon you.

Don't give them the power to kill you. I know it's hard but when you push through it makes you feel like a runner that has trained for months for a race and finished with their best time so far. And that feeling of achievement is tons better than the pain it took to get there
