Bioshock and Diablo at the moment. I liked Fable too. I like a game that has clear "good guys" and "bad guys". That way I can enjoy kickin butt. I can't play driving games ...I'm a bad video game driver plus it makes me motion sick.

Do manual games count? I know about a million flavors of solitaire, can lose myself in puzzle books, jig saw puzzles, etc. I am on my fourth computer career. Ya gotta give me the big bucks to get me doing anything of that sort.

O.k. Hi all, Yes I am back. Had to leave because of some issues I had with some of the negativity I felt. Gaming I now know could be many things. I video game myself. Not to escape but more to wind down and loosen up after dealing with everyday life. Diablo(awesome) Try Oblivion or Skyrim. Not gambling to many pitfalls and not enough benefits. I am well but situation is worse. I now am without meds and therapy(long story with VA). Sorry Memory sucks, 51percent you sound familiar did you go by a different handle before?

No, I don't play games, I play music. That's what works for me. Lyrics really matter, and when I sing songs that speak to PTSD and recovery, it's as if they flow through me and somehow are cleansing.

Cool music is great. I used to write poetry and lyrics. Let's see I had many coping skills before gaming such as: drawing, writing, drinking, smoking, then gaming. Drawing, and writing were ridiculed for dark subject matter. Drinking and smoking to self explosive. Finally gaming. Well fortunately one after another my systems have died and I have a long two-three weeks until I can replace one. I can not sleep right and my concentration is off. I hope I can do it without too much more stress.

i play oblivion and facebook games. also like plants vs. zombies. i want to learn guitar. hopefully i can get rocksmith soon and learn :)

yup. freaky musician here. i dig multi-instrument explorations, and i want to play every instrument on earth before i go off to dance with the star children.

haven't played a video game since the stand-up arcades in the mid-eighties. i liked `joust' hahaha!

i think quite a few of the latest mass shooters admitted practicing for years on 1st. person shooter games. bad voodoo that.

I don't do "gaming." There are games I play on my computer that help keep my cognitive function doing well. I do play some slots for fun on one site. Just win money, get bored, leave. I guess I don't know what true "gaming" is.

    I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying.  I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there.  I think that I will start writing in it again.  It's so therapeutic.

    First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
