i grew up in a foster home for 13 years--I grew out of the system and when my foster parents were no longer getting money they threw me out and if it was not for my uncle on my mothers side taking me in I would have been out in the street.
I have realized yesterday and had to admit peoples responses at different times remind me of my foster mother. Now I have realized why I would get weird looks from people cause of my negative reponses toward them.
My foster mother was a very mean and nasty person--like Dr Jerkal and Mr. Hide. At times she was also very nice and very pleasant to be around. So, I never knew how she would be so I was a very confused little girl.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

If there's any consolation, if you ask me, growing up with both parents in the same home is overrated. I ended up as messed up as any homeless or foster kid.
But healing those confusions calls for one on one focus on specific and personal circumstances. Comparing my childhood with two dysfunctional parents to your having survived the end of gravy train boot will heal no one.
Congratulations on having identified one of your own, personal confusions. May it lead you to healing.
