EMDR Therapy (Nightmares 2 and Anxiety)

I posted a couple days ago which the post was titled EMDR Therapy (Nightmares), Which if you haven't read that one you will see what I'm talking about when I was stalked by a kid that went to my school for 2 years but he stalked me on and off for 3 years by Calling, texting, Skype messaging, Skype calling me. There was one time when I got 17 calls from him in one day and 6 voice messages. The last time I heard from him was in 2015 which now people who haven't read the first post is caught up. It's weird cause when I'm having nightmares about him, I don't even have like a on going nightmare just it's when his face pops up I immediately wake up I don't know why but that's how those nightmares go with me is as soon as the face pops up I immediately wake up and my mind blocked out a lot of the stressors i've had before now that I'm working on the reprocessing and stuff and all of this is very common with EMDR of nightmares and that kind of stuff and it's like whenever a unknown number pops up I panic, like today i got an unknown number my mind immediately went to oh like what if it 's him, I'm glad i'm working on it in EMDR but it's a really hard process and i don't know what to do when my anxiety goes to the very top when stuff like that happen, i'm finding i'm a little more paranoid of him getting back even though I haven't heard from him since 2015 which i hear is normal for people doing EMDR and it's like I have trouble calming down when my anxiety spikes from it.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
I have no experience with standardized EMDR, but I know the anxiety spikes all too well. Breathing and tactile grounding exercises are my go-to therapy tool for dealing with them. Counting is another tool I use for them. Seems to help me bring order to the anxiety chaos. I think of them as "dizzy spells." I *just* assume the position and ride them out.
Talking about them in a supportive environment seems to help, too. Emphasis on, "Supportive." Assumptive justinations don't seem to help, at all.
Hope you feel safe to continue talking about them here, Ri. Welcome aboard.
