When you place a lampshade on your lamp, it not only looks nicer, it acts as diffuser so that you can enjoy its benefits without the eye jabs of a bare bulb. The Earth's atmosphere also works as a diffuser for the sun so that we can thrive on its warmth without burning in its raw intensity.
My morning inventory is downright manicky!!! All the family yaddahs coming at me simultaneously have me wound so tight that I want to ... whatever. Anything will do, as long as it is mean enough to channel the electrified jitters bubbling up from my blahs. Maybe I will go test the strength of the gypsy-rigged chicken shelter. Running around the yard chasing terrified chickens and waking up the neighbors with my fun might be just the ticket. . . Maybe I can knock over a bee hive during the chase . . .

Anybody got a magic pill for me???
The lampshade visualization might be my pill for the day. I'll give 'er a try, anyway. The family dramas are still in motion. When it rains, it pours. Or, maybe, when it lights, it glares????
Thoughts and reality checks welcome. Another potentially tough day ahead of me.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
Attempted humor aside, my magic pill is to literally stand in place and yell "AMOK AMOK AMOK AMOK AMOK!" to defuse and diffuse the intensity of a "can't hear the song for the noise" sort of day. I usually use my bathroom or something, where no one else can overhear.
It's my version of "running amok".... Since the time I literally blew up at Hubby during a bad stretch (relating to family issues of course) and did a lap around our living room yelling "AMOK AMOK AMOK!" while waving my arms like the robot in "Lost in Space'....
GEntle soothing vibes, from a safe distance, of course....

It's a lot to deal with. There's so much going on in your family, and everyone is probably orbiting around you, radiating their distress and expecting you to safely absorb it all and maybe even soothe them. Can you put aside any time for self-care, whatever that means to you? Chasing chickens or a meditative timeout - whatever works for you.
Now for the gastro-intestinal fun... There is damage to the bile duct in addition to the gall bladder. Fun, fun, fun.
I had some time to play in the dirt today. Instead of chasing frightened chickens around the yard, I did some tweakage on the gypsy-rigged shelter to make them feel a little more at home. It is inspiring to watch how gentle they have been with one another during the transition. Hubs named the bold on, "Phyllis." The shy one is, "Shady Grove." He still can't tell them apart well enough to name the four in-betweeners. Some girl-watcher he is!!!
Still no eggs.
By the way, I'm being slow up on the uptake saying so since you changed it a while ago, but love the bee avatar.
Mucho support, my friend.
