Did you know that the sense of smell has a direct impact on our emotional well being? Smell can trigger memories, affect our emotions and even our mood. What are your favorite smells?
I love the smell of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies or brownies baking in the oven. It brings back memories of my grandmother who would bake cookies when we would visit.

I love to put candles on my warmers or burn candles that smell like baked goods or vanilla or that are fruit scented! I can not do floral or tree scents with my allergies and asthma they bother me. My favorite scent though is home baked bread!

Jet fuel and sea air. Smells like my last ship. A very happy time.

I love the smell of roses, many essential oils and yes the smells of baking which always returns me to my mother's kitchen where I imbibed many of the skills and creativity which stood to me when I worked as head chef. I still love to bake and my daughter loves the smells of it when she visits.
