Oh Man. The Dragon is awake again. Woke up angry for no reason. Can not shake it. Feeling like I am going to jump out of my own skin. Can not focus, shortness of breath, teeth grinding, etc. Riding it out, waiting for the calm. Usually sleep helps, but today is my turn to homeschool my little angel. Any thoughts besides breathing exercises those do not work for me?

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
Does your little angel need dance lessons or P.E? Angelic exercise is still exercise.
Today work was called off at school, so it's a snow day and I'm shut in. Usually I would enjoy the time off, but I'm snowbound and having PTSD symptoms today, so it's less fun that expected. My kidney condition precludes taking meds like I used to now, so I'd really like to get out of the house and get moving and physical but I can't today due to snow.
Hang in there sean, because I'm hanging in there today too. It's one of those days, I guess I joke to myself that sometimes the planet has fits of heavier gravity. Just a joke about when I get down. But a hopeful joke, imagining it'll pass and we'll bounce back with normal "gravity" soon.
Anxious energy takes many forms and can be a pain in the Arse. As for my Dragon, lilly is write, I treat mine with care and love. If it's rearing it's head, there is usually a reason for it. Sorting that can be a cathartic experience. You have so much going on, though I see a plan is in place now for some of the stressors. Good stuff , for taking that off the plate. I hope you and your dragon sleep well tonight.
I have certain songs that help to change my mod to gratification instead of degradation. Not that they can change things in the real world of obstacles but they help the moment of anxious pain and anger attacks.
Owl City has a lot of songs that are also family friendly...so you and the angel can dance out some energy! Release them good endorphins.Children give off such a clean aura when dancing and happy...soak it up.

For me, I find I am the most productive when I am experiencing anger...
I focus on cleaning my house, and it is usually spotless when I am finished...
For me, sleeping has always been an avoidance technique...
But I must realize, sometimes my mind and body just need a break...
Take care of yourself through this process... Lila
