Hi Friends,

I will continue to post daily memes until Sept. 8th. Sorry, but I am going to have to take a break for awhile after that date. I have been trying to strengthen my legs and hip for upcoming knee replacement surgery. Because I have a disability in the leg they are doing surgery on (not all the muscles are firing properly), I'm going to be in for some pretty intensive physical Therapy.  I have been working with a physical therapist for the last 7 months preparing for surgery.

This will be my sixth and hopefully last knee surgery. I'm looking forward to being able to resume my walks, being able to go up and down stairs with less difficulty and other activities I've not been able to do for quite awhile. So while I am scared to go through yet another surgery, I am hopeful.

I will also really miss my students as I am going to have to take a break from teaching Rehabilitative Tai Chi while I recover. But will use my teaching skills to hopefully help myself rehabilitate so I can go back to helping others with recovery.
