I am still swimming laps in the alphabet soup my damaged memory has made of my professional therapy. 1972 to present. Even longer, if you count the teachers, etc., who spotted my pain and did their best to help while juggling the needs of 30 other students. In recent years, most of my professional visits have been on behalf of sons and significant others. That is ALLOT of rx'es, dx'es, job titles, degrees, etcetera, etceteri. In two languages. . . The fun just never ends.
I still can't reach the names, etc., but the "Noodles" in my alphabet soup are the sources of much healing which I desperately want to believe in. Need to believe in. Faith comes more easily some days than others.
Seems to me that one thing most of the noodles in my alphabet soup seem to agree on is that they do not have good names or clear understandings for the damages done during my years in the kiddie whorehouse. Seems to me there has been much encouragement to heal creatively and make it up as I go. Do first. Define later.
Seems to me. . .
Thoughts and reality checks welcome.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...

I wanted to be a scientist. Still do, really. If only I was housebroken enough to finish my Freshman core classes. . .
Creativity? I got way too much of THAT in the kiddie whorehouses.
Still sorting. . .
Eldest son was 19 when that dx was administered. Legal adult. He exercised his option to exclude me from all the data sources. He is currently in psychotic episode and believes a supportive mother should know these things. For sure, I do not know the noodles in his adult alphabet soup.
Sigh. . .
Since I am an official resident of the Toxic People Landfill, is there someplace I can send my Non-Toxic cherub?
Hugs of support, time to build a berm to separate each for your own peace.
