The Decompression Phase continues for my beloved and I after the Big Bee Move. I am proud of how well we have been doing at recognizing the marital snipery that has been surfacing at important stuff like lost keys, misunderstood preferences, etc. Decompression calls for venting toxic build-ups from the heroic effort. It is as natural as reacting to a face full of dust. Do your achoo and blow that nose, my love. Don't swallow what your body is trying to reject.
Communications remain brief and respectful with the Deliberate Omission. (Eldest Son, 34 years old) That remains an eggshell waltz, but workable. Again, my Courage to Change meditation reader added some thoughts which resonated.
"It's amazing how my attitude toward others tends to return to me like a basketball rebounding off a backboard. My impatience with other people often generates even more impatience with myself and my world. When I am unkind to someone, I get defensive and expect others to be unkind to me. Likewise, when I accept someone unconditionally, I find that my whole world feels safer.
So it's in my best interest to treat others as I wish to be treated. I try to imagine that my words and actions are being addresses to myself, because in the long run I generally get back what I give out.
If I am unhappy with what I receive, I might try looking for that same behavior in myself. It may not take exactly the same form, but I find that whatever I dislike in another is something that I dislike in myself. The reverse is also true. What I admire in others probably reflects an admirable quality within me.
Today's Reminder
There is something for me to learn from every interaction I have with other people. I will make an extra effort today to take note of the attitudes I'm giving and receiving because they both can teach me about myself.
'Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us or we find it not.' ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
There are still five Supers which we removed from the outyard bee hives on Sunday which are still not packed for winter storage. Gots to admit a day on the couch surfing internet movies sounds allot more tempting... I even feel like I earned it!!! Can I call in sick???

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
It's good you got the bee moving done.
I've also found that what I react to in others is that same Mirror Effect--- and it's always sobering to catch myself. Thanks for the share:-)
BTW, you more than earned it:-) Bee-peace upon you.
"Mirror Effect" is a good name for it, Leo. "Sobering" is another good name for the effect it has when I recognize myself in an aspect I have been denying. How do you say, "O-O-O-P-S"? http://www.digdang.com/media/images/im_so_embarrassed_14197.jpg
