Wow, do I feel crowded by doctor appointments and having labs done in between then not getting any answer when I call to confirm tests and blah blah.
I'm trying not to miss work around all of that. Just feel like I'm keeping my head above water about it.
And NOW, I come home from work today to find a letter from the circuit court telling me I'm a WINNER: I get to do jury duty from Nov. 3-28 now. I won the lottery there.
I'm so floored I just feel like throwing up my hands and laughing. Ever feel like you need a little consideration from the cosmos so you can hold up your end of things?

Does your state allow for mail in abstinence for personal conflicts? Nov 3-28??? That's some serious jury duty!!! Are you already selected or is that just the time frame they expect you to be available for?

BTW, I was once called to jury duty in my home state of Pennsylvania. Of course, I lived in Virginia at the time, and had for five years. You can understand *my* confusion on how, nearly a decade after leaving the state, I was called to jury duty in it, and they managed to mail me the summons in another state entirely.....
Between your job and your health, I'd say you'll get out of it, but yes, in the meantime....
