My complex PTSD is from my adulthood and I can tell you that lots of emotions get left behind. I feel shame where I should feel anger but I still can not feel that anger. Healing from PTSD takes a very long time. I feel stupid when I am with my therapist. I keep saying that I should be over this PTSD now. I know I should. I wonder if the therapist will leave saying I am uncurable because of how I still feel and that I can not move on. We all try to survive in our own way and we create emotions around that PTSD to protect us.

I think it is awful and disgusting how people treat their kids and expect the child to grow out from the abuse they suffered. The people who becomes a part of that person's life during adulthood will have a price to pay because of the abusive child trauma. A friend told me about complex pstd, its ugly and it makes some people feel they have to walk on eggshells because the person who is suffering are edgy and full of emotions.

I have a parent who suffered a bad abusive childhood.
