with the many, many sibs-in-healing who use cats as emotional support, i've championed the cause of training cats to travel with you as you roust about you business more than once. the convo typically ends with the snub of, "yup, your a dog person." i truly think of myself as a "critter person," but ? ? ? i can take a hint. time to change the subject.
i ran into this fellow and his curious shopping companion at walmart yesterday. it was one of the bestest convos of my life. he agrees with me, so how could the convo be bad? my personal favorite definition of genius is, "he agrees with me." he tells me this lovely young lady is his star pupil, but he has several other cats in training.
anybody else impressed? inspired?
shame on me that i didn't get their names. . .

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
the therapy is in the connection
i don't do litter boxes, so my cat knowledge is limited, but this cat was unlike any other cat i've ever encountered. even when my 3 year old took an interest, that cat never left her person. when i first encountered them, the cat was perched comfortably on his shoulders, we were in the cat food aisle, and the cat appeared to be reading labels with him. as we talked, the cat moved to his lap, but no further.
dare i look up french chihuahua? the french are famous for their one upmanship.
