I have been dealing with people telling me I don't have pstd because I have only lost my 3 granddaughters to cps my daughter is in prison been In out of bad and abusive relationships. Now tonight I can't sleep. I get like this especially when I am going to be around my mother. And two days ago my daughter in law decided to verbally have war with me.

What you describe is post traumatic, regardless what anyone said to you. I don't know what they are talking about losing a loved one is very painful and enough to make person upset, regardless of their age. I lost a few family members back in 2015. I lost two relatives before Thanksgiving. One of the family members who was left behind was so upset that they began accusing others of the death. For me personally, I wasn't no where near them when the deaths occurred. Plus I wished the deaths did not happen because my mother would not be so upset and being so depressed right now. I feel that she is grieving as if she lost loved ones, loved ones such as her own mother. After her mother died she was accused of that although her mother died from a disease (no one could do anything about it).
But sincerely the person who tell another person that they do not have post traumatic stress over matters like what you describe, they are idiots and I have no idea where they are getting their information from. My mother was told something like familiar. She was told that she should not grieve over the deaths of children because most babies are born to die. I always felt that after a person lose a loved one, there is not many things to say to families who lost a loved one because it is so easy to offend them.
Hugs to you and try not listening to those who are insensitive. I grieved a friend died. I was sad when they died because I knew them for fifteen years. They died from Cancer the first week of December 2015. There had been a lot of changes since their death. It was hard for me to accept it. Seeing my own mother being ill and suffering with depression, pstd, and etc it's grieving me to no ends meet. I really miss how my mother used to be. I want my mother back, life is changing to rapid for me.
When folks try to psychoanalyze me, I sometimes invite them to send me their resume. I promise to hold on to it and review their qualifications, should a position open up on my therapy network. Sometimes the person I tell this to is me. The only thing worse than arm-chair diagnosing is self-diagnosing.
Meanwhile, that is a pretty good heap of stress you are dealing with it. We don't diagnose here in this just-a-patient forum, but we sure do trade allot of tips on dealing with stress. Hope you find some useful tips, or just healing empathy, here.
Welcome aboard.
Then I'd also get a therapist. Like Prazosin, that helps me cope, too. Much support to you.
I found getting a diagnosis helps a great deal as you can then plan a course of treatment.... Another hug and a blessing....xo
