I made one my bee hives mad today. Happens when you go in for a deep inspection of the hives without benefit of the bee smoker. No big. These days, even mad, they are much calmer than they were when the neighbor's dog was harassing them several times a day and night. We nicknamed the neighbor's dog, "Wolfie the Pooh." She WANTS her honey. She had them so agitated that even trying to feed them would earn an attack on your ankles. Wolfie the Pooh always harassed them from underneath.
Anyhoo, while I was walking off the mob of bees - safe and unstung inside my bee suit - I found myself getting lost in them buzzing all around me. I don't know how to describe it, but it was like a primal imperative to calm my emotions and senses.
Got me to wondering if buzz therapy could be added to the long list of medicinal uses for bees and bee products.
Or, maybe I have fallen down the rabbit hole again...

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
I figured out that when I chant OM, I am hitting the tone the wheels made when I do 60 mph...thus I'd go chanting along at the speed limit.
There is research, movies and books about this very topic.
interesting stuff.
The thought of it feels healing to me .
I think it's worth researching. You're very smart and creative, so you may be onto something.
I think sound wave therapies all hit us a little differently---maybe we each have a specific "harmonic" that works for us.
Wind in pines or aspens is also that way for me.
I say add the buzz therapy!
I currently have 6 hives out here. They routinely visit me while I am chilling on the porch or in the garden. I am about ready to believe I can identify which hive a bee is from by the frequency of her buzz.
