Soddin' concussion! I'm at that lovely stage of recovery where I'm healed enough to feel conpletely, thoroughly bored but still not well enough to actually do stuff. Argh!!! The nausea's gone and the dizzy spells are getting rarer, but I still have a massive headache and I'm really getting tired of it. And because of some sort of genetic mutation (at least that's what the doctors assume) painkillers have no effect whatsoever. Double argh!!!
The headache and lack of anything to do aggravates my insomnia, I feel restless, irritable and on edge and I've been getting minor flashbacks rather frequently, which doesn't exactly improve my mood. *whines childishly*
Long story short, I'm going stir-crazy. You can give me ten assignments and a dozen other things to do at the same time, I'll be fine. But I'm shit at coping with having nothing to do/being unable to do stuff. Also, my head hurts.
Can I maybe have a hug?
Thanks for listening.

Easy does it, Neo. I know this is the stage of recovery where I am most likely to get REALLY stupid.

I've spent the last few days re-watching all my favourite movies and shows, but unfortunately because of the angle of the impact (symptoms of concussions vary depending on where you hit your head and therefore which areas of the brain are affected, it's really quite interesting) I can't really concentrate on anything for more than half an hour. I suck at drawing (it's sooo cool when people can draw, but I'm not one of them), but I've written some short stories and poems. Might pick up composing again tomorrow. Creative things are always relaxing.
Now that I think about it, I reckon prolonged inactivity might be one of my triggers. It's definitely something that's tied in with my main trauma. Hm.
