By my strictly personal, normal-for-me Norm, I am a crying dervish tonight. Even as a child, I never cried much, but at times I am hit by wave after wave of deep sadness that hurts so bad I can almost envy folks who can gain the venting relief of a vigorous, wet faced, nose-dripping cry. Tonight is one of those nights. My face is still dry, but. . . Doesn't seem like it oughta be.
No well-defined reason why. Just the hurts and griefs of a lifetime? Seems like every notion through my head and senses has an aspect worthy of tears. Not quite depression but far from joyful.
Support, hugs and prayers (by whatever name) appreciated.

I mostly let mystery be on the elusive *Why* of my inability to produce tears, but allowing myself to sink into the abyss of sorrow does seem to have a deep soul cleansing effect.
No single reason has focused out of the Personal Pity Party. My theory of the morning is that I am purging residual griefs. Build-ups happen? I often call tears, "A shower for the soul." Scrub-a-lub. . .
Thanks again, my magical friends.
