A gynecological nurse gave her perspective..... If you're having frequent pain sweetie.... I would see a gynecologist if you haven't and/or be referred to a pain clinic

Seems we share very similar story.. I too was sexually abused and also raped by an ex about 5 years ago. I was diagnosed with endometriosis beginning of 2014. Has extreme pain long before that. I've been forced into a hysterectomy and I'm only 24, had it at 22. The endo was just too severe but unfortunately it's back. My story has a stepdad who sexually abused pretty much up until 3 months ago. Long story seeing how I'm an adult I could've left but it's complicated. My mom finally kicked him out once I forced her to my endo specialist appointment who in fact said Yes, he is the biggest cause as to why my body isn't healing and why I most likely developed the endo. Our body stores our pain in the areas we are affected I guess. I saw a psychic who was very legit and I'm point (I was skeptical. Now I'm not) she told me more about my health than I knew. Due to sexual abuse my body stored all that negative energy and pain right where it was happening causing something like endo to happen. That was her belief, my specialists and counselor too. I also suffer awful pelvic muscle spasms on top of endo. During exams it's 3x more painful because i immediately contract. My specialist tried just using a finger and still it pushed her out, painfully of course. She said it was the worst case she's seen. I'm on several muscle relaxers but they haven't done much. I understand what you're going through. I guess what I'm saying is yes, I think it can cause this. It's been 3 months he's left and slowly I'm feeling better. Not much but already endo isn't putting me in a hospital every month like it used to. Maybe it's coincidence, maybe not. I'm very sorry this is all happening to you as well. I had forgotten to add that my specialist said the pelvic muscle spasms were my body's way of protecting itself from someone hurting me again. That's why she can't do exams or when I am forced, it's more painful because my body automatically starts contracting. I do suffer ptsd as well so that factors in when I'm home by myself even and I get a flashback or anxiety attack, I immediately flare up, tense up and spasm.
