It's almost 2 years to the day I lost my previous job. And now I've lost another job. I was hired back in July and now they said after 6 months, it's not working out. Wait? 6 months? I was only there for 4.5 months. Their math has been bad on other occassions too. At least this time I'm getting a month's pay, one month of recruiter service, one month of health insurance and they won't contest my unemployment. But I still feel like shit. I've tried to put a good spin on it but can't. I'm plagued by the same restless, unable to concentrate, insomia, nightmares, and just down feeling I had when the last job ended. Every time I hear the words, "she was fired" I feel my heart sink. On top of it, the job had triggered my asthma to no end. Was hospitalized in Oct. because of asthma. Yes, I was in the process of looking for a new job but losing a job still sucks. I was made feel like a failure as a kid and now it seems the world wants to confirm that verdict. I just wish I knew what I'm doing wrong.

Supportive hugs.
I find my own consolation in the philosophy that it is what you do next which counts. Success is the art of getting up once more than you have fallen.
Continued support while you find your own consolation, ryver. I am impressed with you for trying.
