Does anyone else keep themselves awake?
Trying to figure something out is the main reason but sometimes I feel so depressed I need to talk to someone before I will let myself sleep.
Tonight I don’t know what it is but I can’t settle down. My chest is tight and beating fast. My muscles in general are tight. My jaw hurts, probably from being so stiff. And my breathing is just off.
I’m overwhelmed, in over my head, doubting and questioning everything and I’m scared, heartbroken, humiliated and angry.
I don’t like today but I think I had less thoughts about wishing I were dead. And I haven’t had thoughts about killing myself in several days. I just feel like I don’t belong in this skin. I don’t know how to change that. I feel like I’m on the outside looking in when I’m around others, even my kids. I keep up the facade that I’m happy.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. The symptoms you describe here sound like my insomnia. It bites like a mad dog. The good news is that I don't suffer much insomnia these days.
