I am so exhausted, and still got a long road ahead. It is 7 years this week since our youngest daughter disclosed years of abuse at the hands of her brother. Her sister was also abused. I myself have a history of childhood trauma. 

My brave daughter decided to go to the police and report the abuse. They have been amazing, and she spent about 8 hours over 2 days giving her story.  She was in a psychiatric hospital at the time and could get supervised leave.  Within an hour of being back at the hospital, she collapsed in her room, but pushed the emergency button before she passed out. The nurse found her having a seizure.

She has been in intensive care for 10 days now with suspected auto immune epilepsy. Last night she was transferred via air to a hospital 4 hours away that has a specialist epilepsy centre. This is all new to us and life was complicated enough already. Just running on adrenaline. Exhausted, scared and with my anxiety through the roof. Reaching out to those who know how exhausting life is with complex ptsd without a major health crisis thrown in.
