Hi guys I’m up, mind racing, PTSD on high, due to many reasons... also the physical chronic pain from my autoimmune stuff & perm injuries & all always does a bad dance with the ptsd as many of the injuries are from trauma. There’s a big consistency of feelings of sadness or feeling scared .... & from the pain & injuries of ‘you never fully escaped’ it’s a scary feeling that I have a lot.
But I do get times that I experience feeling angry. Angry about all the abuse I had to endure, how much it all was & the insanity & pain & whew I don’t know, just all of it.
Angry about all the bs I gotta deal with on a moment to moment basis & so on like all the ects. I have troubles with feeling angry because many times I feel guilty after the periods of feeling angry about it all. My abusers have been very angry people & so I get this paranoia that I’m not allowed or shouldn’t be angry because then that makes me like them.
Do any of you guys go through anything like this?
I dont know why, because I’ve posted so much more vulnerable posts on this board before but for some reason I feel Extremely vulnerable writing this post. I almost want to delete it rite now but I’m not going to
Big hug to anyone having a tough night as well

I'm alive, I'm sleeping like a rock, and for some reason I wanted cherry juice so that seems to be helping. (??? Weirdo that I am.)***Infamous therapies over history:1. The Attic. The madwoman in the attic is a motif in literature going waaaaaay back: the nutty female relative is locked in the attic. (See: Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte for a grotesquely racist version of it, and Charlotte Perkins...

Hey all, i know its been quite awhile since i posted on here. Its been a summer all right. Its been something else........... You know how they say not to open the can of worms? Well a few months ago i decided to find out what my due date would have been for my first baby, the one conceived by r***. My baby would have been due on March 4th of 2006. They would be 20 years old. I was R**** on June...

I hope writing helps you get it out. Hugs.
Anger is a tough one for me.i can relate to what you said about feeling like you are like *them* if you get angry.i grew up in a house where everyone but me was allowed to express anger. If i did was quickly shut up.So now i feel guilty when i get angry, and i fear the feeling in me.
Perhaps we need to tell ourselves we so so are entitled to our anger. It needs,i think,to be expressed in a healthy safe way,it does not make us like *them*,
Thank you for this lilmissy good to think about.
healing hugs.....
I survived childhood by not showing emotions if I could help it. Emotional displays made my life worse. it's an ongoing struggle for me.
Hugs from the puma. B/c dang, do I know that feeling.... Kept me up till 1 Am and woke me up at 430 AM today.
Finding effective anger channels was/is far more healing than further self-flagellation and repression.
But that is me. . .
Continued support while you find what is right for you.
So I loved it when I saw the tv episode called ‘Two Cathedrals. " As Wiki says, “it is the 44th episode and second season finale of The West Wing. It was first broadcast on May 16, 2001. President Bartlet is beset by memories of Mrs. Landingham as her funeral approaches.” She’s his secretary when she suddenly is killed in a random car crash. He has loved her since he met her when she was his high school’s secretary when he was a teen. After her funeral, Bartlet has the Secret Service close the church for a private moment alone. Everybody outside thinks he’s weeping over her casket, but the camera shows that inside alone he’s actually cursing God in anger over losing her—and cursing God in a church, no less.
I’m not recommending cursing in churches, but I am saying that that tv episode really freed me to express my anger and just let it out. It’s ok, even though other people may not say so. It really is.
Thank you so much for your support kindness and wise words
I’m really sorry you guys who do understand too
I wanted to write back sooner & wish I could write more but I been having a really hard time, all locked up & muscles relaxers & nothing are helping. I lost my words yesterday & I’m pushing through today. I hope I’m making sense.
Big hugs <3
