Heck, I am starting to shake... It is a good thing, but all change is stressful. On the chronic pain board, someone asked why hubby was home all the time.... well, while I was typing a response, hubby got a phone call from a head hunter...
... yes, just took my antipanic meds....
That was an hour ago? Since then he has had a phone interview, but as he has worked with this company before, they are waving the face to face interview. He is currently doing the 'right to represent' paperwork over email. After that, we are just waiting on the official "Yes or No".
It is only $20 an hour, and it is a 90 minute drive each way... 6 months to hire. Gas is going to eat us alive with him driving my SUV. Hubby is open for any shift - we have nothing else going on other than me packing. Which is what they are looking for - there are eight slots open for this job.
Listening to his phone call, it sounds like they are hoping to give him a firm answer on Monday...
He has not worked, other than at the local haunted maze, in over 2 years.

I have a lot on my plate which is nothing new and I try to cope in many positive ways and do but I still have my moments.My kids more so my daughters talk to me about everything which I know it's cause of comfort and we are close.... however I really struggle with the venting about their dad which...
It's okay to be scared, but I hope you can vent your fears here and JUST offer hubby support and votes of confidence in making his own decision. JUST. Doncha just hate that word???

He is so ready to be OUT of the house and go back to work. I just have to not screw it up for him... Honestly I am ready for him to give me some space too.
Not to mention having an income would help so much!!!!
Hubby and I talked about it a bit. We are not going to count on the job - don't want to raise hopes and get them crushed.
He wants out of the house and to feel like the provider of the family again. And with DS, yes you all, I have enough of a support system that I think I can do it - I can be ok while he is gone at work.
Since he left his job back in 2012 to be with me through my cancer trials and tribulations, I have only gone weekend nights in Oct alone - while he worked at the haunted corn maze. I have not gone one full day, or more than six hours actually, alone - but I think I can do it. I know I will get a lot more packing done that is for sure. Oh and to have something to actually TALK to him about!
OK, I can't help but hope. We really need this.
