I use faith. There is so much that has already reared it's head that by comparison? not very high on my Richter scale. I have leaks in the roof, but I have slept in car, driveways , woods and tents before at this time of year...dump the bucket and move on.

Ask the church friends if they have some enterprising grands or nephews with muscles/energy to load the debris ( for a nominal fee) and sit back with some tea until the truck is full. Then off to the dump. .
rinse and repeat.

I don’t have the sense of responsibility that you do my friend. I would leave it sitting and go for the grand time. Make calls from there and try to setup a future plan of removal for when I returned. I can only sacrifice myself for so long for something and the sacrifing gets detrimental to my mental well being. And that doesn’t get anything accomplished faster but rather sets me back. That is my experience though so super supportive hugs for your journey.

K, my church bud showed up early today wearing mud boots and ready to roll. She is about my age, but another who works with what God gives her to work with. We got the first pickup load done, had an enjoyable lunch (I ate the whole thing!!!) and were backing in for the second load when we got stuck in the mud in the front yard. You playing with me again, you Gnarly Old Dickhead (G.O.D.)? Our best efforts only dug it in deeper. A neighbor came to help and dug it in deeper, still before he came up with the most obvious of questions. "Do you have AAA?"

Now that you mention it. . . Hubs loves his AAA and won't let me road trip without it. I still haven't used it, but now that you mention it. . . Well duh!!!

The single pickup truck load didn't put much of a dent in the contractor's masterpiece, but it's the furthest it's gotten since its creation in December.

We got another load done today. Mulched the mud with leaves and Boy Toy's tires stayed above ground. Could have done another load, but at the moment I believe stabilizing my psychosis is the top priority. I'm not the first psycho K has experienced and her company has been good medicine.

I didn't eat my whole lunch today, but it was a BIG lunch. I ate fair portions of everything.

Two 60 something workers and a high mileage pick up truck do not make an impressive work crew, but it sure is nice to see a change in that pile, however nominal.

Good for you getting so much done sweetie and being able to eat a decent lunch..... That is progress!!

This Friday morning still feels quite desperate, but I can almost believe there is some hope in the fact that K and I created some new edges to smooth around that friggin' pile. Smoothing the rough edges is my literal blue collar specialty.
