I posted this on here before, but deleted it out of frustration with myself and shame, but coming to think of it, this is an outlet and I should be proud. I wrote this with feeling and my feelings should never be minimized. So, I used it to my advantage and wrote a poem.
A Girl So Young
A girl so young, she was only twelve.
Lonely and lost,
Didn't understand herself.
A girl so young, she craved attention.
Rebellion hit,
But harm was not her intention.
A girl so young, she met a man.
Charming, yet mysterious,
Unaware of his plan.
A girl so young, a man much older.
Knowing his age,
The suspense brought her closer.
He groomed her, as he was only a stranger,
But she loved what she lacked,
Until she sensed danger.
He was aggressive, he was alluring,
He was also strong.
The love she thought he had,
She was proven wrong.
A girl so young, terrified and confined.
Wrapped around his finger,
She was turned blind.
He loved her, he hated her.
It was a cycle.
A girl so young, confused of his demeanor.
A punch is no big deal, she had thought.
He was only upset,
And she provoked him, was what she was taught.
It escalated,
She down spiraled,
Yet she still decided to stay,
But in the depths of her mind,
She wanted to run away.
A girl so young, hurt and depressed.
A man much older, proud and impressed.
He was vain, he was smug,
He was also self-absorbed.
Held pride in his actions,
Yet she felt disturbed.
A girl so young, she turned into a woman.
Older, but damaged,
She walks around with baggage.
Agony and wounded, her feelings so intense.
She still feels the pain,
From his abuse at her own expense.
A woman now older, struggling with dreadful nerves.
Yet with all the strength left in her,
She hopes he gets what he deserves.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
Way to validate your feelings while nourishing your creative drives. May it grow and develop.
Thanks for sharing, Reese. I hope others are inspired to share, as well.
There is no magic in magic
It is a collection of trite details
It is an eye of you
It is a share of care
It is a dash of hope
It is a prayerful grope
It is a command to know that you can
