I haven't been on here in a long time so I thought I would stop by and say hi. I have been doing better since I have been off the medication. My case worker called today because I am SMI or have an smi diagnosis but I'm starting to wonder if I really need that label anymore. My trauma that happened back in 2012 is what gave me that diagnosis. The latest thing that is bothering me is how I can get my motivation to live again back and how I can get back on the ball. Before my trauma, I took care of myself, I worked out, I went out and did things, I went to school, I worked now it's like all I do is work, I don't do things for myself like I used to and this really bothers me.
It's like my life is so focused on my anxiety, and not doing anything. I feel like life is passing me by. I want to take better care of myself but I cant find the will or motivaton it's like I have given up and it really bothers me. Like I know I need to work out, clean out my purse, learn my Spanish course, go back to school etc. I feel like I'm doomed. will I ever get my life back?

Just speaking for myself from my experience, anyway. Much support to you day by day.
My search engine brought up allot of "Systems Management" companies and contractors when I tried to learn what "SMI" was. Doesn't sound like a caseworker note. The DS search engine didn't have anything, either. What is SMI in this context?
The prevalence of anxiety in PTSD is why it is listed as an anxiety disorder. Anxiety is a potent PTSD symptom, all by itself. Shifting the focus to something more productive is allot easier to say than do. 'Taint nothing justy about it.
What have you tried so far to get past it?
Good to hear from you again, Hap.
