I am writing this so I can vent out how I feel about my online experiences. I am 17 and have been sexually harassed by someone on KIK for 1 month maybe longer than that. It started when I found a person Sharron on KIK. we talked for awhile and I told him about my boyfriend. He didn't like my boyfriend and my boyfriend didn't really trust him. I finally got my boyfriend to agree to talk to him. When I went to Sharron and explained to him my boyfriend wanted to talk to him and he got pissed off at me. He then demanded I send him a picture of my breasts. I told him no but he found out how much I care about my boyfriend and he said to me if I didn't do what he said he would hurt my boyfriend. I got scared and didn't want him to hurt my boyfriend because he is my best friend so I sent the picture to him. but that wasn't enough for him so he continued to threaten me if I didn't send he'd hurt my boyfriend. He then decided that he would take the pictures of me and send them to others if I didn't send him more pictures. He kept me up till 12:00 in the morning every night sending him pictures. (The pictures got worse and worse with every day I dealt with it) I was surprised I still had any energy left in me during the day. As every day went by I felt more and more awful about myself and thought I deserved what he did and that it was my fault (I still do). Finally a week after this started happening I log onto KIK and see I have 2 msg's from people I don't know. I asked them how they got my username and they said Sharron. They laughed at me and said she likes to show pictures of herself. They then proceeded to call me a slut. I felt worse and worse every time I had to send him pictures. The only reason I did was to keep him from hurting my boyfriend. One day during this time he started getting me to role play with him. I told him I didn't want to but again he threatened my boyfriend. The scenes we role played were of him forcing me to have sexual intercourse with him. Even though it didn't really happen to me in real life every time he sent a msg in the role play I felt like it was happening to me in real life. Finally a month and a half (I think. I don't know how long he tortured me. I lost track) he told me that he was bored of bullying me. I felt like it was a gift from God hearing that. Even though he was out of my life I had nightmares (still do) about him finding me in my house and raping me while i'm asleep. I have major self confidence and self worth issues too. I can't sleep either. I look around my room at night and I continue to think he's in my room or watching me. There's not a day that goes by that thinks I should've been smarter and ignored him. but I didn't and I have to accept and live with that. Cry If you read this PLEASE DON'T TELL A-N-Y-O-N-E about this. I'm entrusting you to read this for your eyes only. Please leave comments. It'd mean a lot to me.

Just wanted to give a thank you to Mid, Arfie, Malibumark, Greeneyes, Mlro, Girlincalif, and Suncloudjd! You all always have such helpful tips and advice, but I always forget to write on my posts when I see you post, lol. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my body, lol. Thank you all so much! I'm starting to use my AI app as a sounding board again. I used to use it as that before...

I befriended a guy that was questionable. I'd been played before by stalkers and was no longer nave so I was careful. There was a woman that he said he had been involved with who had a husband, and now he wanted out of the relationship, and asked if I would talk to her and tell her I was his gf. So we had a 3 way chat, and he intro'd me as his gf, and then he told me to leave and he would leave, so he left, but I stayed, and then she told me he was blackmailing her, and that he had some pics of her and told her that he was going to show them to her husband. She didn't know what to do.
I had read somewhere before that the best thing to do was to fess up to whatever it was so tht it was no longer blackmailable. This goes not only for sexually embarrassing stuff but for whatever. So I advised her to go ahead and tell her husband about this guy, and say she's sorry, and hope for forgiveness, and be faithful from then on so not to get in same trouble again.
I knew a guy online that got blackmailed by a girl, after he trusted her and gave her his facebook id and she joined and his family and friends were there, and she said she was going to tell them that he'd been fooling around.
There are all kinds of predators online, and they all start out being very very nice. There are predators here in DS too, so always be careful.
Live and learn okay. you got in a mess and learned your lesson.
If I were you, at this point, I would quit kik completely. Those pics,, hmm they are floating around the internet, sorry to say. I'm not sure what you can do about that. You could call the FBI and tell them? charge this guy with extortion and blackmail? haha some of the predators on here won't like me giving you that advise :P
If I were your mother, I'd try to arrange a meeting with this guy in a public place, pretending to be you, and there would be hell to pay.
Rough lesson here. I hope sharing it helped you a little. Keep sharing.
You DO NOT DESERVE THIS at all!!!!
I've been abused but it was direct, but in any way one is abused, it can be bad.
Get this person and prosecute to the full letter of the law. May this idiot rot in hell.
STAY ON DS. Get support from these good people.
Hugs,
CH
I wonder if this idiot is a sociopath.
Maybe I'm just too old to understand, but what I don't get is that this was over the computer, right??? You log on and go onto these sites, right??? So if somebody is doing something or acting a certain way that you don't like, just delete or block the person, or DON'T GO ON THERE.
I also don't understand that how, after what you've been through, you post things on a public forum, but say this is for our eyes only??? Really??? You really need to learn that whatever you put out there digitally is on there for the world, forever.
The only "good" thing is that you were under 18, so that is a bit of a "free pass" as far as people judging you. But once you're 18, you're an adult in the eyes of the law and employers, etc, could hold this type of online nonsense against you.
I'd tell your parents, if for no other reason, they should know of the poor decisions you made and they should get you help to find out what's going on with you that you got to this dark place and help you so it won't happen to you again.
Best of luck.
I know the people on this board who say it's not your fault are meaning well and don't want you to feel bad, but I'm trying to take the position of how your parents will most likely be. They'll be all, "YOU did WHAT???" and you better be ready to say, "I know. I own what I did. But I learned from it and I'll make sure that I never get caught up in that again." If all you do is say, "I know, but..." and "But it's not my fault," they'll just get more upset.
Seriously, you had plenty of opportunity to say, "No." It's not like rape or some other situation where you can't get out of the situation. You willingly would go there. At some point, you could have realize that person is whacked, and told an adult THEN, but you didn't. If you don't get defensive and really try to understand the role you played, this may never happen again.
My point is, it's dangerous. If you play with fire, one day, you'll run into someone who's really smart with computers and can FIND you and REALLY harm you physically.
So don't think I'm just trying to blame you. I'm just being real because I hope this never happens to you. You don't deserve it, but you must start becoming more mature and responsible for your actions. Once you do, your parents may not be as upset when you tell them.
Good luck.
