This is new to me. because I always put myyself in position that I could not get rejected. I have now started to open my heart and this now has seeped into my good days. Anyone have any ideas?

Anger is one letter away from danger.
Journaling your details will help you learn how to make your anger work for you, and to be a positive action trigger for your decision making abilities.
Find a way to express that anger in exercise that can provide fast and safe release of the overload of chemicals racing to reduce the overwhelming sensations as they reach the surface.
You will do fine, as you are aware that the way you are feeling is new.
Best wishes.
These are not really cognitive ways to deal with strong emotions, it rather helps you reprocess them. When you feel anger bubbling to the surface in public it may help you to use EFT on the hands called the karate chop, or by just thinking about the left and right brain hemisphere in an alternating way.
Reprocessing emotions has lightened the burden for me and lessened actual reliving experiences. I also tried to learn to see the messages these emotions were to me, as friedly instead of my enemy. Since you have PTSD you probably have every right to be angry about what has happened to you, but it would be a shame if it became toxic to you. Keep you heart open! it has kept me sane (enough) and off drugs.
All the best to you!

I am not one to get angry. There doesn't seem much point to anger as far as I am concerned. My initial reactions are either hurt or fear. I do not know why someone would intentionally do me harm. The only time I get angry is when I see someone abusing a child, an ill person or an old person all of whom cannot defend themselves. Then, my momma bear kicks in big time.
I do get angry with my dog when he doesn't listen, but only when he crosses the road and could get killed. Then, I get really angry. I get angry when my cat uses the furniture for her scratching post, but that isn't a big angry. She is still my favourite cat.
I am afraid of snakes. That is my choice. I think the only good snake is dead and/or a purse or shoes. My fear is because of what I tell myself, my self-talk. You might not be afraid of snakes, but that is because of what you tell yourself. It is not going to hurt me to be afraid of snakes.
We get angry because of our self-talk. It can also become a bad habit. We do things enough, they become habit.
I know my advice seems trite, but it is the truth. I know what I am talking about.
Your comments about wanting to throw things and hit walls show me that you are hurting, so you want to hurt other things or people.
Sometimes we just drive ourselves nuts. We are all neurotic to a certain extent. Either that or we are psychotic and are not in touch with reality.
When you get the urge to throw things, throw a ball or a stuffed toy. When you get the urge to hit walls, get a dart board and literally hit the wall.
It sounds as if you are driving yourself crazy. Been there and done that. Welcome to the human race.
