I have not been feeling well and this past saturday I got up not feeling well and instead of taking care of me I went somewhere. Well, I passed out cause of dydration and went to the doctor on monday and crack a rib.
This past week I have been feeling guilty cause I have been taking care of me as much as I can. I do feel guilty cause of changing my schedule around and taking care of me.
At time the guilt is too much--how can I avoid doing this--letting go of the guilt feeling. i will not get better if I stay home but the guilt eats me away if I don't do what I said that I would do.
Could someone help please?

Just wanted to give a thank you to Mid, Arfie, Malibumark, Greeneyes, Mlro, Girlincalif, and Suncloudjd! You all always have such helpful tips and advice, but I always forget to write on my posts when I see you post, lol. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my body, lol. Thank you all so much! I'm starting to use my AI app as a sounding board again. I used to use it as that before...

Hey all, i know its been quite awhile since i posted on here. Its been a summer all right. Its been something else........... You know how they say not to open the can of worms? Well a few months ago i decided to find out what my due date would have been for my first baby, the one conceived by r***. My baby would have been due on March 4th of 2006. They would be 20 years old. I was R**** on June...

I started by saving my loved ones from the stupid stuff I do when I slide into the martyr mode and refuse to give comfort to myself. There is no nobility in self-destruction and self-neglect. At best, it sets a bad example for those who depend on me. At worst? The list is too long for a single post.
Take care of you, Ladydi. That's an order.
God is gracious to keep me alive, that I believe.
It's illogical, it's self-destructive, and even downright stupid at times, but somehow it's very hard to shake off...even when you know all that.
Sometimes music can get to our emotional self where logic can't. Try listening to Mavis Staples singing "Respect Yourself". It was a help to me.
