I was watching the TODAY show and they were saying goodby to Merideth and started to cry and I do not know why I started to cry and I am still crying. I would feel better if I knew why I was crying and still cring crying. Watching the TODAY triggered something and will find out why soon.

It's okay to cry. Something about the show must have reminded you of something or pulled on your heart strings.
Make sure you are looking after you.
As virlaceygo says, it's ok to cry.
Hope you feel better!
for myself, i have always been greatly disturbed and immediately turn away from or become quickly distraught at animal abuse and neglect.
to me animals are innocent helpless beings ( myself as a child)
abused by "greater" beings ( bullies at school )
and neglected by their "supposed caregiver" that is
-denied rights of BEING ( what was perceived by me as a total rejection of my "self"
and their refusal to recognize my glaring problem. ( or so i percieved it )
if i attempted to defend my self against a bully, i was punished by both parent and school - just as equally as the bully!!
" fighting is wrong no matter what." Blind, misguided, fools who failed me because they " thought" they were always right.
that is like saying it is the dog's fault that it was beaten and not loved.
mis information is a bitch. lol
Notice- only after school shootings- are times changing in this area of the school system. death of the " innocent" where does this aggerssion come from -
ie children are not born racist!
i remember feeling rejected by the entire world, felt i had no place in it, and felt an almost constant resentment, fear and loneliness.
ignored as a human by my parents who did not recognize or intervene effectively on my behalf. " my truth"
today i recognize that this occurred through their misunderstood, rigid adherence to the letter of christs teachings. and their mental idenification with the role of "Parent" etc etc )
my father told me to "turn the other cheek" and "ignore it." i love the man, but he was a blind misguided fool in this area of parenting and i suffered greatly. i take this as a lesson in life, and will endeavor to recognize my children as beings. etc etc
my stress is less today bcause of self reflection and my willingness to change my view of the entire population as hostile towards me. i have many loving people in my life today.
if i can help in way please!!!!!!!!!!! just tell me.
acceptance is vital
if anything i said was not "nice" - i dont care. because i love you too much to not tell "my truth." and the truth IS setting me free. try it for your self.
btw i understand turn the other cheek today. i read the bible and christs words as well as ay written word. i am not "christian"
Believe me the fact that i no longer hate GOD and mankind IS a miracle in itself.

Its been said they clean the soul.........
I have had that happen to me even from a very young age. It could be a sad movie, or a sweet commercial and here come the waterworks. Usually lasts for a few minutes then it is gone. Now if I see something like that and it directly affects me in what I am going through, like after my miscarriages, any diaper commercial would make me curl up and cry for hours. ( i am sure understandably so) As for TV shows, I graduated class of 1993, coincidently the same year Beverly Hills 90210, Saved by the bell, and a few other tv shows all graduated classes 93' so every time I saw one of those at that time, I would get very emotional. I figure some people are just more sensitive than others, and I am one of those people for sure.( I don't know, maybe I said too much and I am just weird that way) (lol)
We don't have to know why our tears fall, and it makes not difference whether we cry for ten min. or ten hours.
You suffer from PTSD......................Give yourself a break!
