I'm 62, diagnosed 1/18/99 when tested because I complained about my foot dragging. No big deal right? Wrong! 19 years later I now have PPMS-WTF! I cannot walk and my left side is paralized from 3 mini-strokes. So trying to keep upbeat riding around in my power wheelchair. I have my mind, my four senses, and bodily functions. What else will be taken from me?

I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital. I don't think that we will have her much longer. Another friend had a brain tumor and her doctor did not want to operate. Her choices were an early death from doing nothing or forcing her doctor to go ahead with the surgery. She is the first to ever survive such an operation. She went from teaching herself to walk again, with help from physical therapy as well. She had handrails installed in her home, on the steps (3) to the front door. She's an artist and couldn't paint with her right hand. She began to teach herself to paint left handed, had to crawl through her home, and I could go on. I find her story encouraging, and I hope it's somewhat encouraging for you too. This is Linda and my dear friend, Tom in a very short interview about miraculous recovery. (The screenplay for her movie was one I edited.)
