Three days ago from this post, a new drug by La Jolla Pharmaceutical called GCS-100 showed to be efficace in treating chronic kidney disease. While this isn't specific to ADPKD, it could be used as a helpful treatment if approved.
Here is the article by Reuters on it:

I'm not too certain of the science behind how it works, but I assume there might be some advantages for people with PKD as well. It did mention it helps deal with tissue damage.
Here is the study on clinicaltrials:
http://www.clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT01843790?term=gcs-100&rank=3
It says they are actively recruiting at the bottom if interested.
No one in the trial had any adverse side-effects. The results of this trial had investors very optimistic, and La Jolla's shares jumped 60% on the news at once point.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
