its difficult to treat gout in kidney patients with it.
Is the high uric acid levels from gout or renal failure? Can your diet be altered so you don't take in foods that create high uric acid levels? I am curious what your doctor says. Please keep us posted. Hope you get it resolved soon.

i take allopurinol i have high uric acid levels as well my creatinine level has been around 1.21 - 1.25 i started taking it a few months back and i go to the dr in a month so ill see if mine have changed any i hope your levels return to normal now that your off of it
