Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.

I thought I'd follow that up
with an on-going thread
where members could
post something they did
today or yesterday or this
past week, that made them
feel good about themself
(doesn't matter what that
something is).
So far today, I've completed
two-thirds of my physical
exercise routine. I did 50
minutes on the elliptical
and ten regulation push-ups.
I'll complete the other third
of the routine, (a series of
strenuous streches), later
in the day.
Doing this virtually every day
makes me feel fit, strong
and there for myself.

Mental exercise:
Was listening to a show on the radio with Jonathan Coulton and they asked him what road-trip games he played, and he said he squared license plate numbers. I don't know if he was joking or not, but I was traveling this weekend so... challenge accepted! I squared a 4 digit number in my head.
Much better than being called "dumb" and "stupid" for years.
My former friend, the one who betrayed me and gave testimony on my abusers behalf tried to approach me and speak to me at a party I attended at a mutual friends home last night. We have not spoken in months and he wants to break the ice in front of a room full of people?
I saw him coming and I got up and left the room without looking at him or speaking to him. I did not make a scene. I sent a text after I left the party and told him never to approach me again and that I have no intention of speaking to him ever. He broke my heart.
