I read the book, One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp. It's a good book but written in kind of a wierd way. Took me awhile to get through it, but worth it bc it inspired me to keep a list of my own gifts that I receive daily, and makes you realize the little things that really are such blessing in our lives. My list in part:
Being home alone
The prairie
Dark chocolate
My pets
Fireplace
Getting stuff done
Lazy days when I don't have to get anything done!
Meadowlarks
New, tiny, baby leaves
A really good book

Let's see....where does my gratitude lie today -

Rain - for finally clearing the snow/salt gunk from my car
My mom - bless her heart, we have had a difficult relationship, but much to my surprise we get along better today then we have in years
Duck Dynasty - for provoking much needed full-belly laughs (thank you Sy)
Nickers from my horse - she's a typical mare, a little bitchy, but when she nickers to me, I'm done
