Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
Does anyone have any experience with Parental Alienation Syndrome with their exes and their kids?
My kids will not even speak to me and often get involved in sending me nasty text messages (which appear to be directed from their father)...
I was the primary, if not sole, caregiver for their entire lives until I left the home in order to ensure my safety and sanity. My kids are 14 and 16 and chose to stay with their father - the man with the power, money and influence.
My daughter was receptive to spending time with me for a while but over time it has dwindled to nothing. My son has only spoken to me for 5 minutes since June.
Help.... does anyone have advice? Just deal with the grief of losing your children like they were dead? It is paralyzing sometimes for me.
