Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
what is he? a health inspector???
who says that kind of thing??
(oh yeah- a controlling abuser, that's who!!)
I have steel wool in MY house!
AND, I'm a professional housecleaner, and guess what I have in with my supplies? steel wool!!!!
they are such ASSES.
Soooo..... Where exactly do Brillo pads belong? If not in the kitchen?
That's where I keep mine.
Funny the things that sometimes hit us as so bizarre, that we have to make a change. This is one of them. Controlling? Yeah.....wow....obsessively so. Yikes.
maybe when he was little he used it on a special porcelain plate or something and got in real trouble for ruining an expensive plate. Just trying to figure out what would make someone say that....
Weird, just weird. Glad you are making a plan. Big hugs...
sometimes I'd forget, so I'd do a can of black beans, and MAN, would he ever be mad.
then, a brazilan woman told me that they all make a giant batch, put it in portions, and freeze it.
so I did that, and MAN-he was even MORE mad, because they weren't 'fresh'.
he said that no brazilian woman in her right mind would serve her husband 'old' beans.
well guess what? all of the brazilian women WE knew were doing giant batched! and they didn't even freeze theirs, just left them in the fridge all week. at least mine were frozen on the day that they were made.
and rice too, I had to make a new batch of rice every single day.
I was never (or rarely ) allowed to make one pot meals like chili or soup. pasta wasn't allowed. potatoes weren't allowed. he said that potatoes caused leprosy.
so THAT'S why I was losing all of my fingers, and half my nose was gone!! it was all of those potatoes I ate, growing up.
guess who NEVER makes rice and beans anymore?
guess who has pototoes down in her cupboard (along with those brillo pads..)??????
I keep mine in the laundry room........
you'd better send hollygrove your address, because she's going to have to send her health inspector husband over to investigate!
And the funny part is, WHY do I keep them in the laundry room? Everytime I need them, I have to walk out there and get them. I have never used them in the laundry room. Maybe I am the crazy one!!
Wow.... There's always a rebel, isn't there? lol
