I'm new here so hope it's ok to start a thread like this. Anyway - what pets does everyone have?
I have
1 x dogue de bordeaux - Lennox
2 x cavalier king charles spaniels (the old fashioned, large size, almost as big as a cocker spaniel - Barney and Charlie
2 x boxers - Hilda and Bogart
8 x rabbits - Tia, fudge, ebony, jim-bob, rex, rosie, ruby, heartly
7 x guinea pigs - Milo, thor, rhubarb, crumble, custard, pumpkin and pickles
6 x cats - Ozzie, Max, Molly, Jasper, Candy and Trudy
5 x rats - Bubble, Squeak, summer, suzie and splodge
2 x syrian hamsters - Honey and Chives
and an infestation of dwarf hamsters after taking in 8 rescues and ending up with 4 litters of 5,6,6 and 9!
All of these are rescue animals apart from 2 of the cats and Barney, my CKC spaniel!
Has anybody else got a menagerie? I'd love to have a horse, but unfortunatley can't afford one and would have nowhere to keep one, but who knows, maybe in the future!
I have two 2year old female cats that are sisters (they are more like siamese twins) and they bring me tremendous joy. They have no hang ups and they are so so serene and peaceful. I am blessed!
I have to live with my boyfriends dog who is really not by choice(i know this sounds mean) and She is just a strange dog!!!!! She is inbred and I think they someone should start and inbreed rescue:) Hint hint
I also have a schnauzer who is five and she is new in my home. She belonged to my past mother who cant care for her. She is a breath of fresh air...what a jy to have in the house and walking and running outside.
She loves to play and is Happy!
I've got a 12 year old mixed breed dog, 3 cats (16, 5, 2), 4 bettas (2 each male & female) and a fancy goldfish. I live in a city, but I have a house with a nice yard. I have a bunch of squirrels, birds and rabbits (not to mention the deer and fox) that I feed in the winter. Our winters are pretty tough (I live on the south shore of Lake Ontario). I put out ears of corn for the deer, fox & squirrels. I guess the rabbits must eat it too, because they are always out there. I feed everyone on the other side of the fence, since the dog would just LOVE the catch something! She's very fast!!
Hey guys im Di..im new here..

Just one spayed cat- Chloe; and two chinchllas- Fluffy and Chinchee. I will be getting my daughters sweet but fat black cat from her Dad's house this summer- (Midnight). I am not home enough for a dog...but I want one! I am volunteering at the Humane Society, and I want to take home so many of them!!! I won't allow myself to get a new pet until I pay off my $2,000 vet bill (it is down to 1500 now).
Well I am feeling like I'm one of the "odd" group. I have a little miniture schnauzer/cairn terrier/wired haired terrier mix named "Otis". The vet thinks he is 3 1/2. I got him from an agency last year and actually met the family that rescued and fostered him before I got him. He is suffering from Seperation Anxiety and PTSD and I am working to help him "overcome" this.
I was going to adopt a kitty but my vet said it wouldn't be a good idea for Otis. So its just he and I.
Holy Mother of God, some of you people have a lot of critters!
I have an Australian bearded dragon named "Misty" (because she likes to be misted with water) and a big fat litter-trained Rex rabbit that thinks she's a dog. Her best friend is a dog. She fetches, begs and gives kisses for "cookies", which means any treat you give her. She'll eat absolutely anything, and because she runs around the house like a dog, you have to guard your meals with your life, or she'll steal from your plate when you're not looking! She'll lay on her back and let you rub her tummy, and she jumps up in your lap when you're watching TV. She gets excited when Daddy comes home from work, and I have to pick her up so she can see out the window when he waves to her before coming in the house. Then she follows him around like a puppy. Yup. A rabbit.
My pet list is minimal compared to some here! We have 4 dogs, and 1 kitty.
1x Beagle (Duke) 12 years old
1x Pug (Mya Lynne) 2 years old
2x Cocker Spaniels, (Sophie 1 yr. old, and Sampson 7 months). Sophie is all black except a white diamond shaped patch on her chest. Sampson is white/black. Both have polka dotted chins. Sophie is AKC registered...which makes no difference, cuz she's spayed!
1 Calico kitty (Muffin) Short hair calico 5 years old.
All our pets (except Sophie) have been rescues, all are spayed/neutered. All are pure breeds.
In our household we have:
1 large Cock-a-poo, her name is Molly, she's 5 1/2years old, She's been with us for 4 years, and our first rescue.
1 small Havanese, Dutch, he's my baby, Dutch recently turned 10 years old, and because he spent a couple of unfortunate years with my ex, he now has a heart condition. But he still has his puppy energy.
And the there is Coco, he's a beautiful Russian Blue kitty. Coco is 7 years old, and he came to us from the county shelter, he was our little twilight adoption, Coco has been with us since mid February.
And we love and spoil them all.
