I'm new here so hope it's ok to start a thread like this. Anyway - what pets does everyone have?
I have
1 x dogue de bordeaux - Lennox
2 x cavalier king charles spaniels (the old fashioned, large size, almost as big as a cocker spaniel - Barney and Charlie
2 x boxers - Hilda and Bogart
8 x rabbits - Tia, fudge, ebony, jim-bob, rex, rosie, ruby, heartly
7 x guinea pigs - Milo, thor, rhubarb, crumble, custard, pumpkin and pickles
6 x cats - Ozzie, Max, Molly, Jasper, Candy and Trudy
5 x rats - Bubble, Squeak, summer, suzie and splodge
2 x syrian hamsters - Honey and Chives
and an infestation of dwarf hamsters after taking in 8 rescues and ending up with 4 litters of 5,6,6 and 9!
All of these are rescue animals apart from 2 of the cats and Barney, my CKC spaniel!
Has anybody else got a menagerie? I'd love to have a horse, but unfortunatley can't afford one and would have nowhere to keep one, but who knows, maybe in the future!

1x American Shorthair x Tabby: Dini (short for Houdini, bit we rarely ever call him that.)
1x Tabby: Sweetie Pie, Scamp's sister.
1x Tortoiseshell cat: Callie. She was originally my grandparents' cat, but they can''t take care of her anymore, and plus, she got fleas.
1x Longhaired cat: Silver. He's a loud, lazy thing, but he is sooo beautiful! Well, at least, now that we bathed him. We think his original human family abandoned him, because he was already fixed when we found him. He goes all over the neighborhood. Only reason he's ours is because we feed him, pay for his vet bills, and occasionally he comes inside, like when it's really cold. Otherwise, he's an outdoor cat.

Cats: Mystic. Gotten privately, would have end up at a shelter.
Lucky. Rescued from the street. As I understand, he was owned by a elderly man who moved and left the cat behind.
Wow - its just me and my little mini-schnauzer/Cairn Terrier 3 1/2 year old dog "Otis". I don't think I could handle all those pets at once by myself.
When I was a kid (with 2 older sisters (before the younger kids came)) My family had
2 cats
3 dogs
2 geese
3 ducks
1 frog
2 horses
1 lamb
Not to mention all the wild animals that wondered onto the property. :)
But now its just me and Otis. :) My baby!
1 - long-haired Chihuahua/long-haired Daschund cross named Dacia - aged 6;
1 - 1/2 Siamese, 1/2 grey med. haired tabby named Phoenix, aged 18;
1 - black and white tuxedo short-haired tomcat named Reggie, aged 9;
1 - long-haired clouded calico female named Shadow, aged 6;
1 - short-haired grey tiger female named Matilda; aged 5; and
1 - long-haired calico female named Daisy, aged 3 years.
They have been of great comfort and companionship since my husband died in September. They are the reason I get up every day.
