Very interesting! I really believe there is something to this. When I force myself to run further than my body wants to go, my shaking is worse right after, but then becomes less throughout the day. I am also so much calmer and relaxed on those days. It does have an huge effect on me. I really believe exercise is a major key for us.

I ride tandem with my wife. With the onset of PD I have a harder time riding, and we ride slower. Looks like we need to push ourselves a little more.
I am captain and I have problems with balance. I am working on a new tandem that my wife can be the captain. Perhaps we will ride more when we make that change.

Thanks for sharing Rajesh. Dr. Alberts has a video on Youtube as well. I got to it through the PDF site. Listening to Dr. Alberts when first diagnosed with PD inspired me to start exercising as part of my meds.

At times when hubby can barely walk, he can run and it says it feels so good :)

Hi Rajesh and all, yes I had red the article about cycling also. I started 30 min. stationary bike 2x a day and I must say it helped . My meds. worked better and I hardly had any down time. I had some set bak lately ,[6 brain surgeries . But I am going back to it . Maybe I can slowed down the progress of the PD. Thank you Zlatica
