I just wanted to mention Low Dose Naltrexone. Although it's not a cure, it has stopped the progress for some people with Parkinson's and works well with all autoimmune diseases with no side effects after the first two weeks of getting used to it. It's at least something you could take along with your other medications.

p.s. Low Dose is not the same as Naltrexone. If you look it up, be sure all three words are there, "Low Dose Naltrexone" or LDN.

Dont know much about that, but my neoro says it halts the progression????
I'm not sure whats its doing for me besides eating a big hole in my medical plan's drug insurance. As Phil has said its a costly med, over 10 dollars a pop...I believe the patent expires in a couple of years so it will be cheaper then.
This drug has many contra-indications with other meds, so caution is advised when taking other meds, and even over the counter stuff.

I feel it is worth a try. It is expensive. I wouldn't be able to afford it without my insurance.
I cant afford it, will wait and see. One great aspect about living in Australia, is we have a very fair health system I(that costs the government dearly)
I will wait patiently
Any other news anyone learns, would be fantastic
I posed a good question ,
