This group is for parents whose children have been sexually abused. We welcome both Mothers and Fathers. Here, we can offer support to one another. We can vent, cry and lift each other up. No condemning or criticizing allowed. We are here for support. We LOVE (((HUGS))) !
Well, the son of the man that was doing this to my baby was also doing this to my baby!! He has been having sex with my 12-year-old for the last 2 months!! Even after the POS killed himself last month, this POS was sneaking in my daughter's window and having sex with her!! As if his dad did not do enough damage to my baby, he was keeping it going!! We just found out yesterday. We went straight to the investigator after I tried to go next door to hurt him with my bare hands. The SOB was outside mowing when I found out!! We have been on guard and watching her every move except at night when we were all in bed!! OMGod!! I just don't understand!! I do not sleep well at night and am up and down at night. I have even checked on her in the middle of the night and let her kitten out of her room so, how in the hell did this happen? It is killing me!! I feel like such a failure as a mother!! I felt as if I did not protect my baby and swore that no one would hurt her again and then this!! I know that when a child is molested that they tend to be permiscuous ( I know that is misspelled, but I can't think to spell right) so we were going to be sure to get her counseling and be sure to protect her from that... little did we know that the POS was already taking advantage of her!! His father groomed her and he took advantage of that!! I hope that he does the same as his father!! My daughter has to go give her statement on Tuesday so we are staying out of town until then. I guess now I know why he was being so sad about his dad's death!! He is just as sick as that M-Fer!! Oh My GOD!! Can it get worse?? I guess it can, but it sure doesn't feel like it right now!!
This is just my own 2 cents
But, you are your daughters proxy, her voice. So in a way this allows you to completely ignore whether or not you feel sorry for this family. So, in my eyes, fight for what is in her best interest.
Also - this entire family appears culpable in one way or another - covering up, tossing blame, SHAMING your daughter. And that's not even if they knew and never reported.
So, by allowing any $ to this family to me would be like allowing Hitler to keep his $ too. And why allow this family to retain any fuel?
If they were nice, full of guilt and sorrow and accepted blame n responsibly reported - well then the end result would still be the same bc they wouldn't stand in the way of a civil suit nonetheless...
So - that's my 2 cents - not my "expertise" just my 2 cents if it makes any sense :-)
