Parents Whose children have been sexually abused Community Group
This group is for parents whose children have been sexually abused. We welcome both Mothers and Fathers. Here, we can offer support to one another. We can vent, cry and lift each other up. No condemning or criticizing allowed. We are here for support. We LOVE (((HUGS))) !
Hang in there, Laura
Extra hugs and stay strong.
You're at the cusp of some sort of justice, if there is ever such a thing in these cases. I'm still a year out since my first CPS report and... Nothing. So, maybe that's a positive to help you think about - that likely you will put two perps in their place - and very interesting to find out who's next and next and next - because wondering if others in that family knew n did nothing too - or if there are any other perps in that Hell. Wonder what the fate of that granddaughter will be now?
Amazing and I think of you all the time - and I don't even really know you :-)
Bless your heart Charity7.
Please don't even tell me that the dad is falling for his religiosity.
Someone said to me some wise words the other day. I do believe church is one of the last places to trust leaving behind your valuables - esp your kids. And these are the words I'm going to live by - as to preserve my faith but live with the reality of who is at church with you.
People act slighted when I say there's people attracted to church who have no business being there. People respond to me that those are the people who need church the most. I still stand that this is NOT true - because they're going there NOT to listen or hear a word. They're going there to deceive.
And so - this woman told me how she left her coat behind and said to her friend oooops - but it's ok it's in church.
Her friend responded - Silly! The church is you! That is just a building and people steal in the building!!!
And so Charity7 - your church is you and your loving heart that always wants to learn how to love greater.
Be careful for those in the same building as you who don't have church in their heart.
I know this is off the topic. But I just hate how perps use church to deceive and we all (me too) fell for it. Yet we can't let it shake our love to God. And therefore this is how I separate what happens in a building from what is in my heart now.
Keep your beautiful faith and stay strong mama.
I think of you a lot 96percent and all of the other ladies as well. I know that's right about the Carls... just a bunch of sick Carls. SMH!!
The son is not religious at all. That is what was such crap to my husband and me about how he was mourning his father's death. He hated his father in life and hated everything he stood for. They are so confusing.
I do not currently attend church (as in the going to the place of worship) because I have not been able to find a church where I feel at home and truly feel as if I am welcome since I have gotten married and moved to this small town. Most of the churches around here want members that have been there since birth and I am not originally from here so, I am not really comfortable anywhere I have gone. I have a relationship with Jesus and I don't need to go to a place full of fake people to prove that. He is very much in my life and I strive to be a better Christian daily, but again, I don't think going to a building makes that anymore so. Don't get me wrong, I would love to be able to go to church and be involved... it just has not happened where I live. I do hope that when we move, we can find a church there.
Thank you for all of the encouraging words!! Everyone, thank you so much!!
OMG - I wish you and your family a refreshing new start wherever you land and I hope you can move soon.
