hope that helps:)
We are trying to switch her naptime to 4, so she sleeps til 6. That means completley changing her eating schedule, it used to be 12 and 5, but now we are trying 1 and 6. That way she get's to see Daddy for about half hour, forty five minutes, when he get's home between jobs. He has been the one layng her down. Plus, by napping until 6, she can stay up until 930 and that gives half an hour to an hour of Daddy time after he's done his second job.
It's not ideal, but it's the only way she gets to see Daddy some days.
On day's with a sitter, she still isn't napping. She absolutley refuses to nap anywhere but home. Plus, in the car she only sleeps as long as thier is motion, the second you stop for more then 20 seconds shes up. Often she half wakes up at stop lights then goes back to sleep when the light goes green!
But once again, thanks for the tons of super advice!
my boys were always good nappers but they also woke early, like on weekdays and between 7-8:00 an weekends. I definitely think at 19 months a rest period is needed, even if it is just cuddled up in bed with you and some books.
The owly moods seem to have gone as well. She is up from 10am until 8-9pm about five days a week, and we no longer really have any issues outside the usual attitude. She is 21 months.
But when we are at home, if I don't work and we don't have errands, I lay her down and she goes to sleep easy peasy for about two hours.
It seems to be working....but soon I want to introduce the toddler bed, and that may just destroy everything lol.
