otherwise a large dose of any valium type meds is the only way I know of stopping it
I have taken my meds for tonight and eaten two bowls of soup, which has helped.
I also plan on taking an additional Klonopin and a Trazodone to help me go to bed tonight.
Still, I am scared of going to bed tonight. As soon as I feel like I am about to fall asleep, a surge of panic or a sharp pain in my stomach causes me to jolt up.
I am really scared that I am still going to be sick tomorrow and miss work. Also scared that I started the cycle of panic again. All I can do is stop drinking and hope that it will cause the panic to go away. I only hope that I have the power to do so.
Pretty intense symptoms: gasping for air, heart palpitations, profound anxiety ... feel as though I am freefalling through space. Several episodes throughout day ... then when I try to drift off to ssleep when my whole body lurhches and spasms me to wakefulness
Have been relying on alcohol to make intensty less severe. Use anbien for sleep. PA s is side effect of PTSD.
Probably shold be on an anxiolytic ,,, but which one?,,,,,,,,,,,,, Do not want weight gain,
Hope I've been nice ,,, sinetimes hard to tell when I am shot in the ass and all.
Same thing happens to me after a night of drinking. The next day, I feel like crap, which opens my mind up to anxiety.
My suggestion is to reach out and ask for help, go to an AA meeting even if your not sure if your an alcoholic there are ppl there who will understand and can help you. The sad truth until your able to stop drinking the problem will only get worse. I came to the point of being suicidal before I would ask for help.
Best of luck to you and I hope things get better.
I am currently on my third day of not feeling well. I still am dealing with all day anxiety and am once again afraid of going into work tomorrow. Yesterday, I had no problem making it through my shift as cashier, but I work deli tomorrow which is REALLY stressful.
I have just been feeling awkward, anxious, and almost in a drugged like state since I gave myself that hangover two days ago. I KNOW this anxiety has to end eventually, but I just keep asking myself how much longer do I have to suffer before it does.
Regardless of how bad I feel, I am going to go to the gym today. Hopefully that will help.
I am really scared that I may be going through some sort of alcohol withdrawal, but I still have every intention to not so much as have a sip of alcohol.
