Hello all,
Last night I had a terrible panic attack at bedtime. It did not abate all night long.
Every time I thought I was calming down enough to sleep I just ended up laying there ruminating and experiencing all the dreadful usual physical symptoms i get with my attacks.
I eventually fell asleep around 6 AM and woke up around 8:30 AM.I never did manage to get any more sleep.
I feel like today has been one long drawn out panic attack that will never end.I dread bedtime because I have convinced myself this will happen again.Big mistake I know.
I have an appointmnt with my pyschiatrist tomorrow and will talk to him about it but I am already dreading tonight.
I feel just flooded with adrenaline and cortisol.
I don't know what if anything I am asking here, just reaching out for support i guess...

Does anyone follow her? She's really got some good tips.
Do you recommend a certain meditation video or app?? Also, what is mindfulness? I am really trying to learn how to calm myself down and I just do not even know where to start. I have tried to look for apps for my apple phone but have really had no success. Everything seems to cost money these days and I do not have a lot of it!! lol. Thanks :)
I am so sorry you are suffering and I hope things get better for you soon.
Unfortunately I have OCD and meditation is just too dangerous for me.It leaves too much space for intrusive thoughts.
I do have an amazing therapist though.
Thank you again.
So sorry you are feeling scared.
Hear to listen if you would like to talk about it..
Hope you feel better soon.
