I noticed that the cramps hurt less wen I was taking calcium pills. Much less actually. Ive often wondered if the almost life long pancreatitis caused me to not absrob in enough calcium and other minerals from the food thus contributing to causng the female issues.
I haven't noticed any correlation between my infrequent, short period and CP tho. I've always had abnormal cycles tho.

Started getting little heavier cycles I'm 39 now.
Right before cycle starts get a pancreatic flare.
I believe hormones / nutrition ( absorption)can play a role.
Narrowing it down and looking at my personal life also( NON- drinker, non-smoker, no-drugs).
I eat balanced meals. junk food in moderation ( I tried eating perfect it doesn't work)
So I am going to try gummies multi vitamins.- I have tried regular vitamin years ago and stopped because I would feel sick. Like to much of something......
I have been taking dulera and creon( as needed in recent years). They helped some but I can never tolerate a full dose of anything. Have to stop them right before my cycle.
I think over the years I have not absorbed enough nutrients ( I eat enough variety,always been underweight / small my whole life.
Malabsorption may be a problem for other people too.
