Hello freinds, we all pretty much know one another so no need to go into my personal experience of chronic suffering pancreatitis. But the subject at head here is weakness in our bodies from having this disease. I have had this disease medically diagnosed for three and a half years, since then I have had not only bouts of pancreatic pain but overall weakness in the body. I have had reduced energy, sore muscles and so on. Latley I have been feeling okay but I have had a huge loss of energy and muscular weakness. I want to stay in bed for hours and hours I do not want to get out of bed, and then when I do, I am up almost all night, it is like the opiates keep me up, almost like an energy boost. I also have noticed that when I take Niaspan in the evening which I am required nightly I sleep very hard. But when I skip the dose I don't sleep hard and wake up ready too go. so my question here is.....does anyone else have the trouble of finding energy drive in the morning, and doed having this illness make you feel weak....?

For me, i feel weak b/c of my lack of food intake. Since i'm not able to eat much, that is how i don't have energy.

Yes Yes Yes I have never felt so weak and achy until I was diagnosed with this illness. I am up most of the night in pain too. I do push myself out the door to work everyday, I think maybe 2 or 3 days is all I didn't go in in the last two months. this is good for me. I was out of work from July of last year to March of this year, then I went back to work a little at a time. first month only once a week, then I tried for twice a week, until I reached full time. I think since I can't eat many things I don't have the energy I used to have too.

Is anyone here allergic to Sulfa that is currently taking Diamox? I have been diagnosed with IH now for almost 2 years. I am allergic to Sulfa drugs meaning that my throat will swell up so my Neurologist put me on Topamax. I was suffering from major loud whoosing noises and the topamax helped that but everyday I still hear those mainly between 6 - 12 pm. I am at my wits end and have not went...

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
