My ex (so this is a purely curious question now) had been diagnosed with alcoholic pancreatitis a little over a year ago after a one week stint in ICU. He detoxed in the hospital. I do not think he has touched liquor since then, but does drink a few beers many days. His attacks have become at least monthly now., sometimes more.. very painful but over in a day. With each attack does it damage the pancreas more? Is the beer hurting him? If he continues to drink beer and have a poor diet what will happen? He believes as long as he takes is daily enzyme he will be fine. We may be broken up, but I still care about what happens to him.
